RTMPS Support for Live Event Ingest
Live events now support secure RTMPS ingest, so you can pull contribution feeds directly from public networks, remote venues, and environments where end-to-end encryption is required — without needing a separate TLS termination layer in front.
RTMPS ingest end-to-end — Schedule live events using RTMPS source URLs, with the same workflow you already use for RTMP. Matched performance — RTMPS ingest runs within the same latency envelope as standard RTMP, so secure contribution doesn’t cost you any delay. Resilient to live source disconnects — If a live feed drops mid-broadcast, the system retries the source with backoff before falling back to your configured slate, keeping channels on a known surface throughout. Reliable inside loop schedules — Live events embedded inside loop channels recover cleanly when the source reconnects.
