Video and Animated Overlays Now Supported

The overlay upload experience now supports a much wider range of formats, so animated brand bugs, short video stings, and externally hosted assets can all be added the same way you’d add a PNG logo. Video and animated overlay support — Upload MP4 videos and animated GIFs directly as overlays, alongside the static images you already use. Dedicated video upload path — A new endpoint handles video overlay uploads with format validation and storage tuned for video assets. Reference externally hosted media — Point to overlay assets hosted outside FastPix via URL, and they’ll be fetched on demand — no need to re-upload assets you already host elsewhere. Clearer upload errors — When an upload fails validation, the response now identifies exactly which field caused the issue, making it much faster to debug.
