Download video and audio files from the dashboard

You can now enable a static rendition for any ready media directly from the dashboard and download it as a file, without calling the API.

The media’s Download menu now includes Static renditions. Highest Quality Video creates a downloadable MP4 file (the capped_4k rendition), and Audio Only creates a downloadable audio file (the audioOnly .m4a rendition). FastPix generates the file in the background, which can take a few minutes depending on the media’s duration and resolution. Once it is ready, you can download it from the same menu, or delete it when you no longer need it.

Because a static rendition is an on-demand file, storage is billed for as long as it stays enabled. Deleting the rendition stops that cost.
