Multi-plan billing: subscribe to more than one plan per workspace
Multi-plan billing: subscribe to more than one plan per workspace
Back to Changelog
Workspaces can now subscribe to more than one paid plan at a time. Previously a workspace could only be on a single plan, which made it awkward to combine, for example, a VOD plan with a separate Live plan or a data analytics plan.
What this unlocks:
- Stacked subscriptions — Add a second (or third) plan to a workspace and the invoice will combine all of them at the end of the billing cycle.
- Per-plan cancellation — Cancelling one plan no longer cancels every plan on the workspace. Each plan has its own cancellation date and proration.
- Graceful downgrade to free — When a workspace drops its last paid plan, the workspace transitions to the free plan gracefully rather than losing access.
- Cleaner free-plan handling — Edge cases where a workspace ended up on more than one free plan after upgrades and downgrades are now collapsed automatically.
- Reliable cancellation dates — Cancellation dates are now recorded consistently for every type of cancellation, including admin-driven cancellations.
Invoices include a per-plan breakdown so you can see exactly what each subscription contributed to the total.
