Each item carries the segments defined on it, along with any bumpers attached to those segments. #### How it works 1. Make a GET request to this endpoint with the `channelId` and the `programId`. 2. The response returns the program's items in play order, each with its `type`, `duration` and `referenceId`. 3. For each item, `segments` lists the time windows marked on it, and each segment's `bumper` shows the pre-roll and post-roll attached to that window. Items are returned in full, without pagination. #### Example A playout dashboard renders the rundown for a program, showing each item in order together with the ad breaks marked on it and the bumpers that play around them. Use your Access Token ID as the username and Secret Key as the password in the Authorization header of each API request. * Username: Access Token ID * Password: Secret Key Activate your FastPix account to generate your API credentials. See the guide here ## Request ### Path parameters - `channelId` (string, required) — The unique identifier of the loop channel the program belongs to. - `programId` (string, required) — The unique identifier of the program whose items are retrieved. ## Response ### 200 Program items retrieved successfully - `success` (boolean, optional) — Shows the request status. Returns true for success and false for failure. - `data` (list of CloudPlayoutProgramMedia, optional) — The items in the program, in the order the channel plays them. ## Types ### CloudPlayoutProgramMedia An item in a program on a Cloud Playout loop channel. - `id` (string, optional) — The unique identifier FastPix assigns to the item within the program. Use this identifier when you remove the item from the program. - `index` (double, optional) — The item's position in the program. Items are played in ascending order of index. - `programId` (string, optional) — The unique identifier of the program the item belongs to. - `referenceId` (string, optional) — The source the item plays. For a `vod` item this is the unique identifier of the media, for a `bumper` item it is the unique identifier of the bumper, and for a `live` item it is the name given to the live event. - `name` (string, optional, nullable) — The name of the item. It is returned for `vod` and `bumper` items; for a `live` item the name is returned in `referenceId`. - `type` (enum, optional) — The kind of item. `vod` plays a media item from your library, `live` reserves a slot for the channel's live input, and `bumper` plays a short clip between items. - Allowed values: `vod`, `live`, `bumper` - `duration` (string, optional) — The duration of the item, formatted as `HH:MM:SS`, or `HH:MM:SS.mmm` when it includes a fraction of a second. - `thumbnail` (string, optional, nullable) — A URL to the item's thumbnail image. - `sourceResolution` (string, optional, nullable) — The resolution of the source the item plays. - `segments` (list of CloudPlayoutSegment, optional) — The segments marked on the item, in the order they occur. Segments can only be marked on `vod` items. ### CloudPlayoutSegment A time window marked on an item, which can carry bumpers around it. - `id` (string, optional) — The unique identifier FastPix assigns to the segment. - `segmentMediaId` (string, optional) — The unique identifier of the media the segment is marked on. - `startTime` (integer, optional) — The point in the media where the segment begins, in seconds from the start of the media. - `duration` (integer, optional) — The length of the segment in seconds. - `bumper` (CloudPlayoutSegmentBumper, optional) — The bumpers attached to this segment. Each key is present only when a bumper of that kind has been added. - `thumbnail` (string, optional, nullable) — A URL to the segment's thumbnail image. - `status` (string, optional, nullable) — The current state of the segment. ### CloudPlayoutSegmentBumper The bumpers attached to this segment. Each key is present only when a bumper of that kind has been added. - `preroll` (CloudPlayoutSegmentBumper, optional) — The bumpers attached to this segment. Each key is present only when a bumper of that kind has been added. - `postroll` (CloudPlayoutSegmentBumper, optional) — The bumpers attached to this segment. Each key is present only when a bumper of that kind has been added. ## Examples **Response** ```json { "success": true, "data": [ { "id": "4a1e1f3b-2c0d-4c4a-9a02-1d7e5f6b8c90", "index": 10, "programId": "d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f", "referenceId": "8c2c4ef1-1c2a-4a49-9c5b-8f9c0a7c3d21", "name": "Morning headlines", "type": "vod", "duration": "00:10:30.500", "thumbnail": "https://images.fastpix.com/8c2c4ef1-1c2a-4a49-9c5b-8f9c0a7c3d21/thumbnail.png", "sourceResolution": "1080p", "segments": [ { "id": "6f0b6a3c-6c1e-4c15-9a2e-58b1b0a3c5d1", "segmentMediaId": "8c2c4ef1-1c2a-4a49-9c5b-8f9c0a7c3d21", "startTime": 0, "duration": 300, "bumper": { "preroll": { "id": "9d9f2c67-0a25-4b3e-9a70-1a5c1d2b6f88", "name": "Ad break intro", "duration": 5, "durationMillis": 5040, "thumbnail": "https://images.fastpix.com/9d9f2c67-0a25-4b3e-9a70-1a5c1d2b6f88/thumbnail.png" } } } ] }, { "id": "7b4d9a12-5f3c-4c8e-9d21-3a7e2c5b1f04", "index": 20, "programId": "d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f", "referenceId": "Evening match", "type": "live", "duration": "02:00:00", "thumbnail": null, "sourceResolution": null, "segments": [] } ] } ``` **SDK Code** ```python import requests url = "https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/media-details" response = requests.get(url, auth=("", "")) print(response.json()) ``` ```javascript const url = 'https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/media-details'; const credentials = btoa(":"); const options = {method: 'GET', headers: {Authorization: `Basic ${credentials}`}}; try { const response = await fetch(url, options); const data = await response.json(); console.log(data); } catch (error) { console.error(error); } ``` ```go package main import ( "fmt" "net/http" "io" ) func main() { url := "https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/media-details" req, _ := http.NewRequest("GET", url, nil) req.SetBasicAuth("", "") res, _ := http.DefaultClient.Do(req) defer res.Body.Close() body, _ := io.ReadAll(res.Body) fmt.Println(res) fmt.Println(string(body)) } ``` ```ruby require 'uri' require 'net/http' url = URI("https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/media-details") http = Net::HTTP.new(url.host, url.port) http.use_ssl = true request = Net::HTTP::Get.new(url) request.basic_auth("", "") response = http.request(request) puts response.read_body ``` ```java import com.mashape.unirest.http.HttpResponse; import com.mashape.unirest.http.Unirest; HttpResponse response = Unirest.get("https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/media-details") .basicAuth("", "") .asString(); ``` ```php request('GET', 'https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/media-details', [ 'headers' => [ ], 'auth' => ['', ''], ]); echo $response->getBody(); ``` ```csharp using RestSharp; using RestSharp.Authenticators; var client = new RestClient("https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/media-details"); client.Authenticator = new HttpBasicAuthenticator("", ""); var request = new RestRequest(Method.GET); IRestResponse response = client.Execute(request); ``` ```swift import Foundation let credentials = Data(":".utf8).base64EncodedString() let headers = ["Authorization": "Basic \(credentials)"] let request = NSMutableURLRequest(url: NSURL(string: "https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/media-details")! as URL, cachePolicy: .useProtocolCachePolicy, timeoutInterval: 10.0) request.httpMethod = "GET" request.allHTTPHeaderFields = headers let session = URLSession.shared let dataTask = session.dataTask(with: request as URLRequest, completionHandler: { (data, response, error) -> Void in if (error != nil) { print(error as Any) } else { let httpResponse = response as?
