The remaining items keep their order, and the program's item count and total duration are updated. #### How it works 1. Make a DELETE request to this endpoint with the ID of the item you want to remove, which you can get from the get items in a program endpoint. 2. Any segments marked on the item are removed with it, and the clips FastPix created for those segments are deleted from your media library. The media the item played is not affected. 3. The response confirms the removal. On a channel that is on air, an item cannot be removed if it is already due to play in the next few minutes, because that part of the line-up has already been sent to the playout system. To remove several items at once, use the remove several items from a program endpoint. #### Example A broadcaster drops a trailer from the evening block after the campaign it promoted has ended. Use your Access Token ID as the username and Secret Key as the password in the Authorization header of each API request. * Username: Access Token ID * Password: Secret Key Activate your FastPix account to generate your API credentials. See the guide here ## Request ### Path parameters - `channelId` (string, required) — The unique identifier of the loop channel the program belongs to. - `programId` (string, required) — The unique identifier of the program the item is removed from. - `eventId` (string, required) — The unique identifier of the item to remove, as returned in the `id` field by the get items in a program endpoint. ## Response ### 200 Item removed from the program successfully - `success` (boolean, optional) — Shows the request status. Returns true for success and false for failure. ## Examples **Response** ```json { "success": true } ``` **SDK Code** ```python import requests url = "https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/event/4a1e1f3b-2c0d-4c4a-9a02-1d7e5f6b8c90" response = requests.delete(url, auth=("", "")) print(response.json()) ``` ```javascript const url = 'https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/event/4a1e1f3b-2c0d-4c4a-9a02-1d7e5f6b8c90'; const credentials = btoa(":"); const options = {method: 'DELETE', headers: {Authorization: `Basic ${credentials}`}}; try { const response = await fetch(url, options); const data = await response.json(); console.log(data); } catch (error) { console.error(error); } ``` ```go package main import ( "fmt" "net/http" "io" ) func main() { url := "https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/event/4a1e1f3b-2c0d-4c4a-9a02-1d7e5f6b8c90" req, _ := http.NewRequest("DELETE", url, nil) req.SetBasicAuth("", "") res, _ := http.DefaultClient.Do(req) defer res.Body.Close() body, _ := io.ReadAll(res.Body) fmt.Println(res) fmt.Println(string(body)) } ``` ```ruby require 'uri' require 'net/http' url = URI("https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/event/4a1e1f3b-2c0d-4c4a-9a02-1d7e5f6b8c90") http = Net::HTTP.new(url.host, url.port) http.use_ssl = true request = Net::HTTP::Delete.new(url) request.basic_auth("", "") response = http.request(request) puts response.read_body ``` ```java import com.mashape.unirest.http.HttpResponse; import com.mashape.unirest.http.Unirest; HttpResponse response = Unirest.delete("https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/event/4a1e1f3b-2c0d-4c4a-9a02-1d7e5f6b8c90") .basicAuth("", "") .asString(); ``` ```php request('DELETE', 'https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/event/4a1e1f3b-2c0d-4c4a-9a02-1d7e5f6b8c90', [ 'headers' => [ ], 'auth' => ['', ''], ]); echo $response->getBody(); ``` ```csharp using RestSharp; using RestSharp.Authenticators; var client = new RestClient("https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/event/4a1e1f3b-2c0d-4c4a-9a02-1d7e5f6b8c90"); client.Authenticator = new HttpBasicAuthenticator("", ""); var request = new RestRequest(Method.DELETE); IRestResponse response = client.Execute(request); ``` ```swift import Foundation let credentials = Data(":".utf8).base64EncodedString() let headers = ["Authorization": "Basic \(credentials)"] let request = NSMutableURLRequest(url: NSURL(string: "https://api.fastpix.com/v1/cloud-playout/channels/cc99cae6-56b4-46ab-9f4a-8b2462d8137c/programs/d85083a0-e935-4c29-9c32-6720bdc9b22f/event/4a1e1f3b-2c0d-4c4a-9a02-1d7e5f6b8c90")! as URL, cachePolicy: .useProtocolCachePolicy, timeoutInterval: 10.0) request.httpMethod = "DELETE" request.allHTTPHeaderFields = headers let session = URLSession.shared let dataTask = session.dataTask(with: request as URLRequest, completionHandler: { (data, response, error) -> Void in if (error != nil) { print(error as Any) } else { let httpResponse = response as?
