# FastPix for WordPress 2.0.0 is now available

> FastPix for WordPress 2.0.0 is live on the WordPress plugin directory. Upload, manage, embed, protect, and measure video from the WordPress dashboard.

FastPix for WordPress 2.0.0 is now available on the [WordPress plugin directory](https://wordpress.org/plugins/fastpix-io/). The plugin connects your WordPress site to FastPix so you can upload, manage, embed, protect, and measure video without leaving the WordPress dashboard. Install it, connect your FastPix account, and turn on webhooks to get started.

What's included:

* **Upload and manage**: upload from the browser with resumable uploads, ingest a video from a public URL, and migrate an existing Media Library to FastPix. The plugin keeps a local registry of your videos in sync through webhooks, with a periodic sweep as a fallback.

* **Embed**: add adaptive-bitrate video with the Gutenberg block or a shortcode, and emit `VideoObject` structured data so public videos are eligible for video rich results in search.

* **Protect**: serve private, signed playback and DRM so paid or gated video can't be shared or downloaded.

* **Measure**: read per-video and per-course analytics in the dashboard, and use webhooks for instant updates.

* **More**: AI-generated summaries, transcript and chapter search, and automatic subtitles, plus RTMPS and SRT live streaming that keeps the recording in your library automatically. Roles and capabilities, WP-CLI, and developer hooks are available for teams and agencies.
